A COMPUTER FOR THE CHOGORIA
PRESBYTERY OFFICE
With joy and thanksgiving, $1000 was sent to the Chogoria
Presbytery Headquarters for the purchase of a computer for their
office. On August 21, 2004, J.P. Gitonga, Chogoria Presbytery
Clerk, wrote, “I take this opportunity to thank you sincerely for
the donation of $1000 to help us to buy a computer for the
Presbytery. The money arrived and we are now preparing the office
(power, security) etc so as to install it. We shall give the
details after we install it. We appreciate your kind gesture.
BOOKS SENT TO PCEA SCHOOLS
Word has been received that the children’s books sent by Anita
Rise (1st Pres, Fargo) to the Igwanjau Primary School
have been received with great enthusiasm.
The First Presbyterian Church of Cooperstown is sending a set of
science textbooks to their sister congregation’s, St. John’s
Kimuchia, secondary school.

We will share
our prayer requests. If your congregation has a prayer request,
please send it to the Presbytery office. It will be posted on the
News from Friends link so that our Chogoria partners can join us
in prayer. In the same manner, the prayer requests from Chogoria
will be posted so that we can be in prayer for our brothers and
sisters in Christ.
