 As members of the
Presbyterian Church (USA) engage in worldwide ministries, we
begin to recognize that Presbyterians in other countries and cultures have a
variety of gifts to offer and faith experience to share. Given the
opportunity to share these gifts and experiences, our lives and theirs may be
enriched. Being in partnership with Presbyterians in Kenya, we will be
"mutually encouraged by each other's faith" (Romans 1:12 NRSV) and thereby
strengthened in our ministries. The Northern Plains Presbytery commits
itself to a partnership with the Chogoria Presbytery in Kenya which will provide
to both parties a variety of gifts. |

This is sure to be an exciting trip with as
many as 40 members of our Presbytery traveling and working side by side with
our brothers and sisters of the Chogoria Presbyteries in Kenya.
