The Committee on Ministry (COM) is
implementing a new approach to accomplish its work. The churches of
Presbytery are divided into eight groupings. Each grouping of churches
will have a contact person from COM. The groupings and the contacts are
as follows:
Would you like to be a liaison to a neighboring congregation? The
persons listed above are in the process of identifying and recruiting
ministers or elders who are willing to serve as a COM liaison to another
congregation in their grouping. Liaisons are volunteers who are trained
as designees of COM to help COM meet its responsibilities to pastors,
Christian educators, CLPs, sessions and congregations. Liaisons serve as
long as they are happy to do so. In general, the major responsibility of
a liaison is to develop a relationship with a nearby congregation: to
offer support, to listen to needs and concerns, and to enhance
communication. If you are an elder or pastor and would like to serve as
a COM liaison, please contact one of the persons listed above or the
